2017 Down Home Christmas

9 AM Breakfast with Santa - Bethel-Tate High School , 3420 State Route 125 - By reservation only. Email Connie England at
btmusicassociation@gmail.com . The Bethel-Tate Music students will be hosting "Breakfast with Santa" from 8 AM to 12 PM. Breakfast menu: French toast with syrup, sausage links, banana, juice, milk, and coffee. Santa Claus will be arriving, choir will be singing Christmas carols and the band will be playing some tunes. There will be an opportunity to take photos of your child with Santa. There will be face painting, Christmas story time and crafts for the children to do. Those that are interested, to reserve a seat, please email Connie England at btmusicassociation@gmail.com . The cost is $7 per person and the deadline for reservations is November 21. 9 AM – 1PM Community Savings Bank, 503 W Plane St
- Serving hot coffee, hot chocolate and other goodies! Beginning November 1st, bring a can of food to our bank and get an entry to win a GoPro! Each can of food = 1 free entry for the drawing. All donations to benefit the American Legion Post 406 Food Drive of Bethel. Drawing for the GoPro will be on Saturday, Dec 3th at 1:00. Winner need not be present. During the parade starting at 5:00, we will be serving chili, hot chocolate and coffee in front of the bank!

9:30 AM - 2:00 PM Decorate a Gingerbread House and enjoy Open House Activities -- the Bethel Branch Library, 611 West Plane Street. Open House with refreshments.  Drop in for cookies and a Capri Sun drink or water.  Children can create a Christmas Elf craft; get their face painted;  and decorate a gingerbread house.  Each child will be provided with a gingerbread house to decorate and all supplies will be provided.  The entire family can enjoy these activities in time for the holidays.  Pre-registration  is required to attend one of the 10 Gingerbread House sessions, 9:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.  Call 513-734-2619 or go online at www.clermontlibrary.org under Events and Bethel Branch to reserve a spot for your family.

10 AM - 4 PM Bethel Historical Museum, Grant Memorial Building, W Plane Street
Enter to win Grand Prize Village Gift Baskets on behalf of our local businesses! Drawings will be after the parade. Also enter to win a flat screen TV donated by Nurre Funeral Home and a doll house, completely furnished, donated by Howard Jones.

11:00 AM – Santa Doggy Parade – Village Hardware - Registration begins at 10:00. Come and parade your dog through the village in the Santa Doggy Parade. Plaques will be given in four categories: Best Dressed for Small Breed, Medium Breed and Large Breed and Best Dressed Family. Download your registration form above or get one at Village Hardware.

11 AM - 2 PM Kids Fest – Church of the Nazarene, 50 East Water Street, Free snacks and crafts. Visit Santa in the Winter Wonderland room. Take a ‘Journey to Bethlehem’ ending in a Live Nativity. Bring your camera to get pictures.
